The Razer Viper Mini has a great body shape that suits most people. It has a lightweight frame but without cutouts or holes in the shell (very common with super lightweight options). The plastic frame doesn’t creak at all.
At 61g, the Razer Viper Mini is the lightest in the Viper collection. It’s a Mini Viper but with some physical changes to cut down on cost, like non-textured sides so the whole exterior has the same feel. This means the side grips won’t peel over time, which is actually a good thing. The cable is also soft and flexible.
On the Razer Viper Mini, there are LEDs on the top in the shape of the Razer logo. There’s also a new bottom-firing LED stip which looks pretty cool. The DPI button is now behind the scroll wheel instead of the bottom. The sensor in the Razer Viper Mini is a Pixar 3359 with a DPI of up to 8500 (instead of 16,000). Finally, the mouse feet are large 100% PTFE.
Despite the low price, the build basics are covered to an excellent standard.
